Located on the ground floor, the Strauss Hall offers space for up to 700 guests. With an area of 357 m², exquisite chandeliers, the elegant inner balcony and the wide double doors leading out onto the terrace, it is the centre for events in prestigious surroundings.
The Strauss Hall is named after Johann Strauss II, which was a famous Austrian composer of light music and operettas. Kursalon is where he himself used to direct his orchestra as a first violin and enjoyed his first successes. Strauss was known as “The Waltz King” and was responsible for the popularity of the Waltz in Vienna during the 19th century. Some of his works include The Blue Danube, Kaiser-Walzer, Tritsch-Tratsch-Polka and others.
